Meet Maria Maio

From the time Maria Maio could walk, she was fascinated with her mother’s makeup drawer, and could oftentimes be found applying makeup to herself and her dolls! After moving to New York City, she quickly found her niche in the world of film and television and today is recognized as one of the top makeup artists in the industry. She is the former color expert for CHANEL Cosmetics for North America and currently the Key Makeup Artist for the TBS' new sitcom “Are We There Yet?”

Working with the biggest names from the world’s of music, television, news and politics, Maria has a long list of celebrity clientele including Kelly Ripa, Mariah Carey, Helena Christiansen, Susie Essman, Eva Herzigova and Hilary Clinton. Maria’s television credits include All My Children, As the World Turns, The View, EXTRA, ET, Who Wants to Be A Millionaire, WABC’s Eyewitness News and 20/20. Maria continues to work with her celebrity clientele in New York where she lives with her husband Anthony and beautiful daughter Lilly.
