Avoid the harm that too much sun can cause

The most important way to care for your skin is to protect it from the sun. In fact, a sun protection plan including applying sunscreen may be the most critical step in your skin care routine. That’s because your face is exposed to the sun more than just about any part of your body.

  • Wrinkles
  • Freckles
  • Blotches
  • Discoloration
  • Premature Aging

  • Skin Cancer

Sun Protection: What You Can Do to Protect Your Skin

  • Stay Indoors – avoid the sun between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. when the sun’s rays are strongest.
  • Cover Up – wear wide-brimmed hats to block ultraviolet rays.
  • Sunscreen – apply generous amounts of broad-spectrum sunscreen (SPF 15 or greater) 30 minutes before going outside, even on cloudy days and in the winter.
